Thailand Weather
Thailand has a tropical climate, the temperature and humidity are relatively high most of the year. The months of April and May are the most uncomfortable with very high temperatures. In June the monsoon weather pattern begins resulting in a season of heavy rain which lasts until about October.
The months from November to February are widely regarded as the best time to visit as the humidity level drops and a cool North East breeze comes in. The average daytime temperature in central Thailand varies from 30 degrees Celsius at its lowest in December and January up to 36 degrees in April. The average rainfall in central Thailand varies from 5mm in December up to 300mm in September.
It is generally recommended that light cotton clothing be worn most of the year. Suitable clothing is certainly very easy and cheap to acquire in Thailand.
