From Australia to Thailand

Virgin Australia: Our preferred airline provides direct flights from Perth to Phuket 4 days per week. Connecting flights are available from Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne. Flying time from Sydney is approximately 9 hours (on average).

Jetstar: provide direct flights from Sydney to Phuket 3 days per week or Melbourne to Bangkok 3 days a week. Flights increase to 4 days per week over the Christmas/ New Year period.

Thai Airways: Thailand`s national Airline carrier flies Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth to Phuket daily via Bangkok. In peak season (June-October) flights are also available direct from Perth to Phuket on Friday's and Saturday's. Connecting flights to 11 destinations are available throughout domestic Thailand.

Air Asia: Operate flights from Sydney, Melbourne, and the Gold Coast via Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok and Phuket. Flights are also available from Perth and Darwin via Denpasar to Bangkok and Phuket.

Other airlines such as Singapore, Malaysia, Emirates and British Airways operate regular flights from most Australian capital cities to Bangkok, or to other Thailand destinations via Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Total flight times including wait times for connecting flights vary from 12.30 up to 17 hours. Stopovers are available in Bangkok for those travelling to destinations like Phuket via Bangkok.

From New Zealand to Thailand

Direct flights are available direct to Bangkok from Auckland with Thai Airways.

Flights to Phuket would be via:
Bangkok with Thai Airways
Hong Kong with Air NZ
Singapore with Singapore Airlines
Via Sydney and Bangkok with British Airways

Flying times vary from 12 hours up to 15hours PLUS connection times, with via Sydney, Singapore and Bangkok the shortest flying time options. (please check connecting flight wait times)

Another popular alternative is to stopover in Sydney and then book a direct flight with Jetstar to Phuket.

Transfers from Airport to Resorts

While you can catch a Thai taxi, we recommend booking your transfers with your hotel booking using a recommended service provider. You simply add transfers option to your quote or booking and we look after the rest.

This is a more secure and reliable option and while it may be slightly more expensive, dealing with a credible operator makes it money well spent.
